My husband and I started a puzzle two years ago that we haven’t finished.
It sits partially completed on the puzzle board in the spare bedroom. We had completed some pretty difficult puzzles before and even framed one. I chose this particular art design for its simplicity, which turned out to be its complexity. The background was a solid color, and there was a lot of it surrounding the actual graphic, so with few reference points, it was tedious and became boring. Sometimes projects, at first glance, look hard and intimidating but turn out to be easy because there are so many reference points that tie in together, and before you know it, you’ve placed the final piece. Others are like a vast ocean with only the horizon to lead.
Don’t be misled by the appearance of simplicity or complexity. The Bible might seem intimidating when first read, but after a while, you see how all the stories, people, and events are connected over hundreds of years, and it’s fascinating!
With God, every piece fits into place.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
- I may be inspired to take another stab at finishing that puzzle now.
